Skiing for Schools benefit local schools, resorts donate some or all proceeds from a limited quantity of discounted tickets to the Excellence in Education Foundation.

Our Tahoe City store is located in the heart of town next to the Cobblestone Mall, and directly across from Commons Beach at 501 North Lake Blvd. This is our original store where it all started in 1960. The building itself is even older and was once just a small general store with apartments in the back and upstairs. Over the years it has been expanded and renovated many times - with the latest facelift being five years ago. Come check out a North Shore institution the next time you're in Tahoe, and ask to see the kids' cubby!

It's also a convenient stop for all your last-minute needs coming up from the West Shore on your way to Alpine Meadows or Squaw Valley. Or just simply stop for the sight-seeing, grab a cup of coffee across the street at our friends the Dam Café, and start your leisure walk of all the fine Tahoe City shops from here.
