Tuesday and has delivered incredible conditions throughout the resort.

The backside, Chair 3 and 4, remained closed Wednesday for snow safety

"On SAT January 6 2007, REI and Kirkwood will be hosting "Winter
Trails Day", a nation wide event with the goal of exposing the public
to snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Free snowshoe demos will be
available throughout the day. A variety of snowshoe manufacturers will
be there, including; Tubbs, Redfeather, MSR and Atlas. Snowshoeing has
a short learning curve. In a few steps, one can be an expert. Which
means anyone can join in on the fun of the Winter Trails Day. All you
have to do is show up and we'll guide you into becoming an ardent
snowshoer. There will also be various seminars offered throughout the
day. Seminars will include avalanche safety and beacon use, GPS
introductions and snowshoe tours. The day will be filled with things
to do and learn. REI will host a booth specializing in their outerwear

Kirkwood will be offering FREE beginning cross country ski lessons.
This free package will include lesson, equipment rental and trail

With lift ticket pricing going up this year, Tahoe Ski Bus packages saves you money and provide you with a fun and relaxing way to enjoy a full day's skiing or riding at your favorite resort. Ride the bus and save!

For example, adult lift ticket prices this year is $75 at Heavenly, $67 at Kirkwood, and $61 at Sierra at Tahoe.

So, a round-trip bus ride and lift ticket package is only $9 to $23 more than purchasing a lift ticket by itself at the resort.

For those who need to add on a lesson, rentals/demos or beginner's learn to ski or snowboard package, we can order these in advance so that when you get to the resort you won't have to stand in long lines.

For season pass holders and those who already have a lift ticket, purchase round trip bus ride for $45 per person.
